explaining the uncanny and gloomy environment of the house and how the
dark imagination of Usher relates to the reality;Which finally gets

Monihara (The lost Jewels) - Rabindranath Tagore
It is one of the greatest all time classic of Tagore from "Golpoguccha" ( A collection of short stories). The story starts with the local school master telling the writer about the history of the Saha Manor , where nearlly twenty years ago a horrific supernatural incident took place. The enrinching character of naive Phanibhushan Saha and the Jewel obsessed Manimalika had made this short story into a Masterpiece.
